About Carla
On January 18, 1998, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I believe that He died on a cross to save us from our sins. He is the only way to eternal salvation. So go here if you really want to know something relevant about me. My eyes are green, and my hair used to be very blonde but is darker now. I really enjoy listening to music. I am very open about most everything and, unconsequently, my favorite color is green. Family legend has it that my great-Uncle Somebody (that means I can't remember his name) wrote the Lord's Prayer twice on a piece of pinhead-sized paper. Water is my drink of choice. I have never broken a bone, probably because my mother made me drink 4 glasses of milk a day, including one at supper. My favorite number is 27. Back home in the mountains we have more goats than anyone needs. As a result, I can make excellent goat noises. We used to have lots and lots o' cats. My little sister liked to name them stuff like "Complainy" and "Climby," depending on said cat's personality/likes/dislikes. I used to have a pet snake but he got loose in the house and we never found him. That was when I was 10. My little sister also lost a white hamster named Snookums in the house. I am the fifth of six children and pray that God will bless us with however many children He sees fit. I have nine nephews and seven nieces. It really bothers me that there isn't a word for "nephews and nieces" like there is for "brothers and sisters" ("siblings"). I worked as a security guard for Broyhill Furniture for two summers. I think it is important for a person to be able to laugh at himself/herself. There's this noise I like to make in the back of my throat that sounds kinda like a cat purring. My right index finger is exactly 3 inches long. Each of the three knuckles is 1 inch long. This Carla Fun Fact comes in handy every once in a while. I married the love of my life on August 26, 2000, less than 10 months after our first date. I'm 5'11" and I like it that way. My first child was 11 pounds at birth and was born at home. I bake my own bread from freshly-ground wheat flour, and we drink raw milk. |
