Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- scant 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon arrowroot powder (optional)
Instructions
- Melt butter in saucepan over medium low heat. Add optional arrowroot and stir to blend.
- Add garlic and cream and stir until hot.
- Add parmesan cheese. Stir constantly while cheese melts.
- Add salt, pepper, and parsley. Serve.
Notes
- The arrowroot gives a thicker sauce.
