Creamed Spinach

  1. Cook the spinach following the directions on the package. Drain and squeeze all the liquid from the spinach when it's done.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the arrowroot to the melted butter and stir until smooth.
  3. Add the cream and heat for 2-3 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Stir constantly so that it does not burn.
  4. Stir the spinach and seasonings into the cream mixture. Cook for 2-4 minutes, stirring constantly.
