Homemade Rice-A-Roni

Instructions

  1. Soak rice overnight in warm water and some homemade whey or lemon juice. Drain.
  2. Saute rice in butter in small 2-quart pot over medium heat until rice is golden brown.
  3. Add broth and seasonings. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to lowest possible setting, cover, and allow to cook for 45 minutes. Do not take the lid off during cooking!
