Salsa

Ingredients
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
- 1/2 onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried cilantro
- 1 teaspoon liquid mesquite smoke
- pepper sauce to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. (If you put the garlic, onion, and green onion on the bottom, you won't have to chop them beforehand.)
- Blend on low to desired smoothness.
Notes
- We like this salsa because I can make it in 5 minutes and I always have the ingredients on hand. Oh, yeah, and it tastes really good!
- This salsa is fairly hot (to us). If you like it really hot, try adding some jalapenos. If it's too hot, add some more tomatoes.
